Location: Mumbai
We have tons of things to brand at PaGaLGuY on a daily basis and are looking to add Graphic Designers to the Design Team. You will get a chance to gain valuable and diverse work experience designing print advertising, installation artifacts, t-shirts, boxes, books, magazines, banners, bags, stickers, cards and any other interesting ideas you can think of.
- You should be an ace at Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw and any other tools that you worship.
- You will work closely with the Marketing team in understanding the needs of specific marketing campaigns and deliver within tight deadlines. You would handle creative briefs independently and should therefore be good at juggling several tasks and delivering quality output.
- Your should have your fundamentals in design theory in place – typography, color theory, composition, etc.
- We would be designing on a variety of mediums (listed above) and you would be required to have strong practical knowledge of printing conventions, methods and formats be it print, cloth or vinyl.
- You would be working with a team of very talented people, who would expect you to be a good communicator in your dealings with them. You should be good at articulating yourself in spoken as well as written communication.
- We would prefer it if you have strong artistic and creative pursuits apart from graphic design, perhaps in painting, photography, good cinema, music, cartooning, etc. Basically, we need you to be sufficiently inspired!
Desired profile and qualifications
A Bachelor/Master degree in design or fine arts from a reputed design school or NIFT. We would prefer it if you had a couple of years’ work experience in end-to-end branding as fulltime work or freelance projects.
Salary: Competitive, depends on experience
